Bandana Bibs By Kelly

I love Love LOVE bandana bibs! I think they're the cutest things ever. I mean really though, who doesn't?!

I also love finding small start up business to collaborate with! Which was why I was thrilled when my good friend Molly put me in touch with Kelly! She sent me two of the cutest bibs for Christopher and we adore them! He looks adorable in them and they're working really well with all the drooling he's been doing lately (mean teeth!) they absorb it all.

I really loved that they are handmade, the quality is always so much better that way! Kelly had so many patterns to chose from, there was no limitations on her selection at all. Anything you can think of she's got! And she had all 4 bibs completed and sent out to me within the week! Plus the bibs are very reasonably priced! You know me.. I love to shop, but only when I'm getting a great deal! $7 including shipping! Sounds good to me!

For my followers! Kelly was kind enough to give me TWO more bibs for a double giveaway! One for a boy, one for a girl!

Scentsy Fresh Review And Giveaway

I am a scentsy addict! If you haven't heard of scentsy before.. It's a company that started off as wax melts and warmers and has grown into all sorts of home fragrance options! Recently they've added a line of cleaning products! I have been buying bars, warmers, scent circles and scent packs for years! So when I found out about the new products I was very intrigued..

I teamed up with my friend Danielle, a Scentsy Consultant and we had a blast working together! For my review I chose the new Scentsy Fresh Spray in the Clean Breeze Scent.

"Eliminate odors with a simple spritz! Scentsy Fresh absorbs odors and fills the air with beautiful fragrance. Mist on hard-to-wash surfaces such as carpets, furniture and curtains — anywhere you want to experience long-lasting Scentsy fragrance."

I was super excited when it arrived! It worked really well and made my house smell like clean laundry! Who wouldn't love that?! The bottle is 16oz which is a really nice amount for the price. And you don't need to use much at all.

Brown Sugar & Bacon Chicken

My bestie makes these delicious brown sugar and bacon wrapped chicken bites as an appetizer any time anyone has a party.. they are totally delicious! Everyone loves them!

So for dinner tonight I decided to go with that concept but instead of bite sized, I'd use big pieces of chicken.

It's super simple and you only need three ingredients. Boneless skinless chicken breasts, bacon and brown sugar.

Wrap the bacon around the chicken, cover in brown sugar and bake at 350 degrees until the chicken is cooked through and the bacon is crisp it. About 30 mins.

Easy peasy! And yummy! Enjoy!

Top 10 Cleaning Hacks That REALLY Work!

I've been a housewife for almost a decade. And I pride myself on having a clean home. I actually enjoy cleaning. But there are some chores we all can't stand doing! Or we wish there was an easier way. Here are 10 Cleaning Hacks That REALLY work! To make your lives a little bit easier and your homes a little bit cleaner!

1. "Dawnegar"
Mix equal parts of blue dawn dish soap and white vinegar in a spray bottle. Use on your tub/ shower, toilets, counters, tile floors... Pretty much any hard surface in your bathroom or home for that matter. I can promise you, it's never been this clean! I was shocked. And now it's my go to!

2. Dryer Sheets For Dusting
I got a tip once to use dryer sheets to dust my baseboards. Not only does it work really well, I swear it keeps the dust at bay for longer! I also use them on my wood furniture. Added bonus, it makes the house smell really good!

3. Vinegar In the Microwave
My microwave can get really gross! Especially with my husband and kids using it more often than I do. But now cleaning it is easier than ever! Pour a cup of white vinegar in to a microwave safe dish and heat it up for 1 minute, 3 for really stuck on stuff. Then wipe it down. It should all come off with ease!

In case you haven't already noticed a theme. Vinegar is a must have in your home!

4. Shaving Cream On the Potty
If you have boys, you know that teaching them to aim can be harder than the actual potty training! And your bathroom always smells faintly of urine. Well not anymore! Put some shaving cream all over the bottom of the toilet and the floor surrounding it. Let it sit for a few minutes the wipe it away. The pee smell will be gone!

5. Bar Keepers Friend
I learned about this product on a Facebook cleaning group. And seriously, I can't believe I had never seen/ used it before. My stainless steel sink and glass stovetop have never ever been so shiny and new looking!

6. Toothpaste For Water Rings (On Wood Furniture)
We all have that one gorgeous piece of furniture that someone left a glass on and now theres a ring! Well now I know a fix! Put a little toothpaste on a cloth, wipe it on in a circular motion, let it sit for a few mins and wipe it off... Goodbye ring!

7. Baking Soda And Essential Oils
Mix baking soda and a few drops of your favorite essential oil (I love lemon because it just smells so fresh and clean!) then sprinkle on your carpets, upholstered furniture and mattresses. Then vacuum! It will remove odors.

8. Essential Oils In Your Vacuum.
Pour a few drops of your favorite essential oil on a cotton ball and vacuum it up. As you vacuum the rest of your house (or car) the vacuum will release the scent into the air.

9. Lemon For Your Drains
Not for your drinks! For your drains. Squeeze lemons down your kitchen sink drain... It will kill bacteria and get rid of odors.

10. Baking Soda And Vinegar
Speaking of drains, sometimes they get clogged. And no one wants to use harsh chemicals. Pouring vinegar and baking soda down the drain will remove it! Remember the volcano experiments? Well, there you go.. A volcano in your drain!

I'll Show You My... Back To School Haul!

The kiddos are back to school (for a few weeks now) and I'll Show You My, the monthly Collab I do with my good friend Christina, is back too!

This month we're showing you what our kids needed for school!

My kids had a ton of clothes, so when we were back to school shopping they didn't need much.. Just a few new outfits and sneakers to start the school year with.

I was especially excited about Emma's pretty dress! She looked so beatiful in it and so grown up!

Follow me on Instagram @MrsWatkins214 to see the rest of their First Day Of School pictures!

Of course they each got a new backpack and lunchbox to start the year! It's a tradition!

Compared to some of our friend's kids, our supply lists are fairly short. The school district provides a lot of what the kids need each year. Emma started 2nd grade, Nicholas 3rd and Jacob is in 5th! Nic's list was the longest, not sure why?

Macaroni and Cheese

The other day a friend of mine asked me to make my macaroni and cheese for dinner and invite him over. It's the only mac and cheese he'll eat.. Apparently it's THAT good! I haven't made it in ages, and I figured on a cool day like today it would be perfect since I've been avoiding using my oven lately due to the heat!

It's super easy and totally yummy! And it feeds an army since it's really creamy, rich and filling! I added some ham to tonight's as well.. Since I was making it as a side for ham steaks, but Hubby wanted the ham IN his mac and cheese!

1 box elbow noodles
1 cup milk
1/2 stick butter
1 8oz package cheddar cheese
1/2 a medium onion chopped small
Bread crumbs
Garlic powder
2 ham steaks cut into bite sized squares

Boil pasta per box instructions. Drain. Put noodles back in the pot and add milk, butter and cheese. Mix well. Then add your onions and ham. Season well with salt pepper and garlic. Add to a baking dish and top with bread crumbs. Bake at 350 for about 30 mins. And enjoy!

Chicken Fajitas!

My kids love Spanish food.. Tacos, empanadas, rice, etc. So I knew they'd love fajitas! I haven't made them in a long time, actually I believe it was one of the very first Date Night dinners I had made for Chris.. But I don't think the kids have had them and if they have they surely don't remember!

It's crock pot season! So what better way to cook them? Toss it in, turn it on and a few hours later dinner is served! I did pair them with white rice and green beans, but both sides take mere minutes to make.

3lbs boneless skinless chicken breast
1 bag frozen pepper and onion stir fry
2 packages of tortillas
Chili powder
Cayane pepper
Garlic powder
Onion powder

Pour 1 cup water into crock pot. Season chicken with spices, I don't measure I just eyeball it and place in crock pot. When chicken is cooked through (about 4 hours low, 2 hours high) remove from crock pot and shred. Add chicken back into crock pot along with bag of frozen peppers and onions and cook on low for another 30 mins. Then serve on tortilla!
