Younique Concealer Review

As many of you know, I have 6 children.. Ranging in age from newborn to 10. I haven't slept through the night in years. I am quite frequently very exhausted! The bags under my eyes are always there and a good concealer is a must! I've tried almost every drug store brand and even a few high end ones. I've found a few I like, but none that I kept purchasing.. I was always looking for a better one. Until Younique!

My first experience or really I should say exposure to Younique was when everyone was raving about their mascara all over social media a few years ago.. To be honest I wasn't impressed. But then my friend Christina started selling their makeup and I saw what a large variety of products they have to offer. So when she asked me if I was interested in collaborating with her to do a review of one of their products I was totally on board! And of course I chose the concealer. Because like I mentioned above, I'm always looking for a better product. Well, not anymore! I have found my go-to. It covered my under eye bags, redness and blemishes so well!

Before and After

I would without a doubt recommend this product to everyone! And I will absolutely purchase in the future. The tube is small, only 10ml but you only need a teeny tiny bit of product for full coverage so it will last a very long time so it is well worth the $29.

Now for a surprise giveaway! Christina is offering up a $15 shopping credit to use towards any Younique product! So comment down below to enter and I will chose one lucky winner a week from today.. Monday June 27, 2016!

Apple Pie Cups

As I was scrolling through Instagram earlier today I saw that Replay had posted this recipe. It looked super yummy and easy to make.. I figured it would be the perfect thing to do with the girls tonight! The big boys were out for the evening and the baby is always sleeping, so after showers we got to work making Apple Pie Cups!

I followed the recipe for the most part.. But you know me, I love to tweek things a bit! I only had regular flour, no pecans and I added a little brown sugar. They came out amazing! And of course we added a scoop of vanilla icecream on top when they were still warm! The kids said they were great and I think Chris ate 5 of them? So I'd say they were a hit!

I'll Show You My... Empties! Products I've Used Up.

That time of the month is here again! I love Love LOVE I'll Show You My! The collab I started with my favorite Momma bloggers Christina and Tracy. On the third Wednesday of every month we show you something we've randomly selected, and we hope that you'll show us yours too! Just link your posts back to us and comment below with your link!

This month we're showing you our empties! Products we've used up. I've seen a ton of youtubers do it.. I thought it was a fun idea so onto the list it went!

Here are some of my empties from the last few months!

1. Method All Purpose Cleaner- I've actually been obsessed with ALL the Method Products and I've switched completely to only using them in our home. But the all purpose cleaner is by far my favorite! They're all natural, they all smell so good, not chemically at all. But this one smells good enough to eat! If you haven't tried Method Brand you should! You'll love it too. I promise!

2. Red Bull Kiwi Twist Summer Edition- Of course I'm a little biased because my Hubby is a District Manager for Red Bull. But this one is so yummy! Up until this one came out last month, Yellow/ Tropical was my favorite. But now, Kiwi Twist! It's amazing. It kind of tastes like a sour apple jolly rancher. Go out and buy one, right now! And before you lecture me on how "energy drinks are bad for you" let me tell you; they have as much caffeine as a soda, as much sugar as an apple and your body produces taurine naturally. So really, just like a cup of coffee it's fine in moderation!

3. Dulce Cucina Jar Candles - I'm a Scentsy girl. Have been for years! But every so often when I run out of bars and I'm waiting for an order to be delivered I'll cheat and buy a jar candle or two. These were in our Shoprite circular for $3.99 each and I couldn't pass them up! That's a freakin awesome price for such a large jar candle. And let me tell you, they smell amazing! I've gotten the Vanilla and Blueberry scents so far and I love them both! Every person who has come into the house while they were burning commented on how great it smells in here. They burn evenly and last a really long time too!

4. Lansinoh Breast Pads - Eventually I will switch to washable/ reusable pads.. But for the first few weeks I need disposable and these are my go to! They are my favorite nursing pads by far! I have tried so many different brands and none compare.. They stick well, are super absorbent and they're big so they cover the whole bra cup.

5. Babyganics Sunscreen - Recently there have been so many articles about sunblock and how horrible most of them are for you. And have you seen some of the pictures of the burns and chemical burns kids are getting?! I try to buy as much all natural as possible so this year I went with Babyganics mineral based SPF 50. I believe I paid about $12 for the bottle. It's a spray/ pump bottle so you spray on and then rub it in. None of the kids had any kind of reaction to it, which is good since we have super sensitive skin here! And no one has gotten sunburn. So it's doing its job well! It smells good, not too chemically which is a plus. With 6 kids we use a lot of sunscreen so it went quickly! We're on our second bottle. So it's safe to say I'm pleased with the product!

Feeling Printy!

I was on the hunt for Big Brother and Big Sister Shirts for the kids.. Because they're such a wide spread age group finding matching clothes isn't always easy, but trying to find a Big Brother/Sister shirt at a store in an 8 or a 10 is impossible! So of course I turned to Easy!

I found a shop called FeelingPrinty that had exactly what I was looking for. I contacted the owner, Cara, to dicuss the 6 shirts I needed. She was so sweet to work with and she did an amazing job.. I was so excited with the way they turned out!

When the kiddos came to the hospital to visit everyone commented on them and how adorable they and their shirts were!

(It was field day at school, hence the face paint.)

And because Cara is so awesome, she's giving all of you 10% off of any purchase you make from her Etsy shop! Using the code BRADYBUNCH10

10 Things You May Not Know About Me!

I always enjoy reading "Facts About Me" posts. It's interesting to find out things about your friends that you never knew before! And it's also a great way to get to know someone you don't know all that well yet!

So here are 10 Things You May Not Know About Me!

1. My kids are my world. This is probably not a surprise to anyone, because I say it regularly. I am obsessed with my children. Everything I do, I do it for them. I take way too many pictures and I probably talk about them way too much. I'm really not the type of mom to get a baby sitter. Once in a while they'll go with our parents for Hubs and I to have a Date Night, but otherwise I rarely ever leave them. Especially the little ones, they are always with me. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

2. My husband is amazing. Seriously, I couldn't ask for a better man for our children and I. He is hard working and provides a good life for us. He's also incredibly hands on with the kids, helps around the house, he's so romantic and super affectionate to me. And he puts up with my crazy! He is my soulmate and  I couldn't be more thankful for him! Go read our Love Story for more details on this one!

3. I have horrible anxiety. It's not a competition and I'm not saying that people aren't telling the truth when they say they "have anxiety".. But when I say horrible, I mean HORRIBLE. It is a debilitating daily struggle. When I am home, I'm completely fine. When it's time to step outside my comfort zone, I panic. Legit panic.

4. I am extremely OCD. I'm talking alphabetizing DVDs, hanging clothes in color order, the toys in the toy bins are color coded, etc. Im a major germ-a-phobe, you could probably eat off my floors (not that I'd ask you to haha). And I'm also known for melting down if I'm not in control. See #3.

5. I only have a handful of friends. Lots of aquaintences, I get along with pretty much everyone.. But real friends, maybe 5? And they're the same friends I've had for a decade. Sure I've added a few new people since moving out to Pa. I've also cut people out over the past few years, because they were toxic and brought nothing positive to my life. But when I make a TRUE friend, they are a friend for life!

6. I was adopted. For a long time it really impacted my life.. Now, it's just my answer when I'm asked any family medical history questions.

7. I love food. I am probably the least picky eater you will ever meet. My kids are the same way. From a very young age they were exposed to all types of food and they eat everything! My bonus- kids who were uber picky will now try everything! They no longer turn their noses up to anything! I mean really, brussel sprouts are a favorite in this house!

8. I have 5 children, full time. I'm about to have another baby and I still don't feel "done". Everyone tells me that I will just know when my family is complete, and maybe after Squish arrives I will get that feeling. But I refuse to get my tubes tied, just in case one day we decide to try for just one more! I love being a mom, I've always wanted at least 6 kids. But I feel like I still have so much love left to give.

9. I hate confrontation. I'm horrible at it. If someone upsets me or hurts me, I just let them. I hate to argue and it's easier to just brush it off (cry about it later) and keep going with my day. But if you hurt my kids, I will raise hell! The Momma Bear instinct is real.

10. I love money.. Not in the superficial I need a lot of money, I spend too much kind of way. I love to BUDGET money. I enjoy paying bills and balancing a check book. I like to know exactly where our money goes and I pride myself on being extremely financially responsible. I have perfect credit and we've got a pretty decent savings account. We don't make a ton of money, and with a big family there isn't always extra. So I get a real rush when I save! Sales, coupons, clearance racks.. Yup all for me! Some people brag about what they bought, where they went and how much they spent. I brag about how much we save! My husband works hard to make the money, I work just as hard to make sure everything is paid for, we all have what we need and that we squirrel away for emergencies or a rainy day!

So that's it, 10 facts about me! I hope you enjoyed reading them and learned something new if you already know me!
